Sally Aves focuses her energy on multi-organisational partnership and collaborative activity, seen by many as a panacea for the complex, so-called wicked issues of society. Until her return to Sydney, Sally was established as a leading advisor in the UK on partnership, leadership and learning through her directorship of a specialist consulting company. Prior to this, as a Fellow within The Business School Bournemouth University, Sally established partnership:exchange, a centre of excellence for partnership working where her research focused on leadership in a collaborative setting, culminating in the development of the ground breaking post graduate certificate in Partnership Working.
An economist with over twenty years corporate sector experience in brand building, strategic planning, corporate development and community investment in the UK, New Zealand and Australia, Sally has worked widely in a range of business sectors and as a consultant across the public, private and community sectors.
Sally’s experience is supported by formal qualifications in economics, management and adult learning; she is also a trained and experienced Coverdale Leadership Coach.
Sally’s practice is underpinned by Appreciative Inquiry, an organisational development process which takes the best of ‘what is’ and adds ‘what might be’ to generate the passion, energy and confidence required to effect real, lasting change.
