Many of us work in a turbulent environment of inherent uncertainty and rapid change, where there are no experts and we have to work things out for ourselves; we continually face problems that have no apparent solution.

Action Learning is arguably the most effective way of delivering those solutions, exploiting the major resource of any individual: their experience and knowledge of their own situation. It offers a dynamic means to indentify and embed new skills, knowledge, processes and practice into organisations.
 
In simple form, Action Learning happens when small groups of people come together to share and reflect on their experiences. What has worked in the past and what might work in the future is discussed and acted on between meetings. Learning from this action is developed into experience-based effective practice which can be used successfully in other settings.
 
Partnership Matters promotes a mix of pure and hybrid Action Learning Models for use by individuals and organisations working in partnership.
